Idea: Best Practices Online Transfer of Knowlege Forum
Goal: To create an online site where state employees could share best practices and resources so they don't have to reinvent the wheel and could transfer knowledge from one agency to another.
Description: The California Network of Learning Professionals (CNLP) Forum - a forum for California State training professionals to communicate and exchange information. This forum is administered by CNLP, a supportive alliance creatively networking to develop the California state workforce for optimal performance
Results:
Over 200 Forum members participate in 40 categories as of 2008 on the online Forum. California Network Learning Professionals also have a listserv and website in addition to the forum. The Forum is restricted to State of CA employees, but categories can be viewed by all guests.
